Financial Therapy For Individuals and Couples

Money-Focused Clinical Consultation for Psychotherapists

CONNECTING THE DOTS BETWEEN MONEY, EMOTIONS,

AND BEHAVIOR.

WHAT DOES MONEY MEAN TO YOU?

We can have between 50 - 200 unconscious beliefs about money that influence and guide our financial decision-making - often formed by the age of seven.

Our relationship with money is deep-rooted, but most of us aren’t aware of how it impacts our day-to-day financial decisions.

Together, we will address patterns of financial self-sabotage so you can live a life where you are in control of your money, your money is not in control of you.

Who Can Benefit From Financial Therapy?

  • People who have lots of guilt and shame about how they’ve managed their money and finances.

  • People who have recently inherited money and feel overwhelmed and burdened with the responsibility.

  • Individuals who avoid opening bills or looking at their bank balance.

  • Couples who argue about money.

  • Couples who have different money-styles - one’s the “spender” and the other is the “saver”.

As a licensed clinical social worker certified in financial psychology and behavioral finance, I help people understand the emotional and behavioral aspects of their relationship with money so they can be in control and improve their financial well-being.
